This website it The American Pharmacy Alliance and is the largest network of independent and small chain pharmacies in the US. It discusses the points on how the network has worked together to use a new software system to help each other out. It also discuss how to boost their rebate earnings and is basically a way for owners of small pharamcies to interact and help each other out. I think that this is a good website because it discuss how the small drug stores are affected financially and what they are doing to stick together and stay alive.

This website has a different point of view then most saying that drug stores are still ok even though many people think that they are being overun by larger more dominant drug stores. it addresses the issues for small drug stores with the larger drug stores. It also discusses the financial impacts of different things chain drug stores are doing including adding more stores. I think that this is a good website because it shows that drug stores are still very prominent and alive but yet they are changing. It looks at many aspects of the financial securtiy and whether or not drug store chains will continue to grow in today's society.

This website is set up by the National Community Pharmacists Association(NCPA). The members of the association as mainly family run pharamacies. It discusses the advantages of independently owned pharmacies. It discusses many of the issues that are present for many small phramacies as well as some accounts of the problems that are occuring. It also has comments from pharmacists that own small pharamacies and their points on the situations. I think that this is a good website because it provides a deep look into many problems that are present in today's small business. It also has a lot of information for anyone interested in knowing more about these issues.

This website takes a look into the Freitelberg suit that sparked a discriminatory-pricing class action by pharamcists nationwide that was settleted in the 1990s. It discusses the points of how to earn money with small pharmacies and the issue of whether or not small and independent pharmacies benefit from rebates. It takes a deeper look into these issues and it takes a look on how pharmacies are run and explains these rebates to where you understand. President Clinton proposed a new plan to protect United States citizens from the illegal drugs and pharmaceuticals over the Internet. This plan which will establish new Federal requirements for all Internet pharmacies to ensure that they follow proper state and Federal laws. i believe that actions such as this altuogh taken a few years back are good steping stones because it makes it clear that something has to be done...and sence it does take a long time for legistlature to reach thee senate i am glad that this was brought to the former presidents attention and that he made his attempts to put the whole contreversy in motion to help prevent it in the future. walgreens drug store is one of the biigest pharmacy stores in the nation. they are also a regular retail store but mainly are known for their pharmacy. this site is the same it provides the user with an account that they can log into and get their prescriptions filled and they can speak to a doctor about their prescription.it also has a health library as most of the pharmacy sites do.

this site wasnt as good as the other pharmacy sies but that is mainly becouse they are not just focusing on the prescripyions but rather selling other goods as well.walgreens doesnt have 2 depend on theinternet like other companies but it does help them spread their customer base.they are still the main place people go to get prescriptions filled in your neihberhood.

This web site shows the measures that state goverments have taken in reaction to pharmaceutical companies overbaring grasp on the helpless society in which they feed off of. in my opinion this spells out exactly what some state goverments may be doing, atkleast texas anyways. i also feel this is a good website beacause it shows what some legistlation may look like in the future. I fell that the government should not interfere with the international trade of online legal drugs..i feel that this infringes on peoples rights...they would not have to be as concerened about this happening if they would put price caps and penalties on american drug manufactures taking advantage of the never ending need for medicine. We can argue that ordering online breaks down personal contact between doctor and patient. A patient in need of medication normally has to see a doctor to get a prescription. There are reasons prescriptions exist. Doctors go to school for a long time and tend to know more about the side affects of certain medications a lot better than any patient. The internet has put access to everything at our finger tips. You don't even need the say-so of a doctor. You can get it right away with a click of a button. Another problem is the lack of formality. Personal care is something that is a big part of the medical industry. Computers have come one step closer to ending that.
